We are just crazy about each other….no, really, we are! We have decided that for our anniversary, we want to give our blog readers and Facebook fans a gift! We found a love for each other and discovered that we both LOVE photography too. It’s because of this that we started Chris Burke Photography.

The days are warm, but it’s a great time to plan ahead for Christmas cards and gifts. This time of year is a perfect backdrop for vibrant, fun portraits that show off your families’ individual style and personality.

Packages and A La Carte pricing available, just send us an email or call!

If you really want to have your family portraits done and can’t decide what to wear, we have a PDF for you with lots of hints and tips.

This past Saturday, July 23, I met up with Amy and Phillip for some engagement photos. They were so easy to work with and seemed to really and truly enjoy an excuse to spend some time laughing, tickling and loving on each other for some photos!!

There were major explosions on the Savannah River in Augusta on Saturday as the Augusta Southern Nationals lit up the water once again.  These are a few shots we took watching Top Fuel Hydro qualifications on Saturday.  Keep an eye on the Chris Burke Photo web site  (www.chrisburkephoto.com) for more to come.

It was nice to return to the Augusta Southern Nationals again after a 10 year hiatus.  The last time I was there was as a racer in Unlimited Outboard and the smell of burning alcohol and nitro in the air was quite invigorating (not to mention the sound of 6000 horsepower being unleashed on the Savannah River).  This was Tonya’s first visit to a drag boat race and it was quite an eye opener for her (maybe we can talk her into dusting off the boat…).  We really enjoyed our day Saturday and I hope you guys enjoy some of the shots we took.

June 29, 2011

Hi, we’re integrating Facebook into our Blog over at Chris Burke Photography.  When you get a moment, navigate over to www.chrisburkephoto.com and check our our images and Blog.

Chris

Sunday afternoon I met my niece and her fiance’ in her hometown for a maternity session.  She’s now 37 weeks and feeling every minute of it!   Despite how she feels, Tiffany is one beautiful Mom-to-be.  I wonder if your new baby girl will have your incredible blue eyes and sweet, sweet dimples?  I can’t wait to find out…

See what I mean about those eyes?

Sweet anticipation…

I just looove Dachshunds.  Love. them.  My cousin showed up the other day with her daughter to have her pictures done (check out Kate below) & brought along her two cute little mini dachshunds.   I learned one thing in the short time that we spent with her pups…pet photographers earn their money!  They were not the least bit concerned with having their best side to the camera.  We have a BIG yellow lab and she was ecstatic with her new playmates.    Hopefully soon we will be able to get them together again for a “playdate”!

Enjoy, Kathy!  I hope this brings a little smile to your face  :)

We had so much fun on Saturday celebrating the wedding of Hannah & Matt. It has been thrilling going thru all of the photos we took getting them ready for Hannah & Matt to look through. We aren’t finished with that part yet, but I just had to post a couple of images that really captured my attention.

We’ll have images from Hannah & Matt’s wedding up later this week, so stay tuned. For now, I have mommy duties!
