I just looove Dachshunds.  Love. them.  My cousin showed up the other day with her daughter to have her pictures done (check out Kate below) & brought along her two cute little mini dachshunds.   I learned one thing in the short time that we spent with her pups…pet photographers earn their money!  They were not the least bit concerned with having their best side to the camera.  We have a BIG yellow lab and she was ecstatic with her new playmates.    Hopefully soon we will be able to get them together again for a “playdate”!

Enjoy, Kathy!  I hope this brings a little smile to your face  :)

We had so much fun on Saturday celebrating the wedding of Hannah & Matt. It has been thrilling going thru all of the photos we took getting them ready for Hannah & Matt to look through. We aren’t finished with that part yet, but I just had to post a couple of images that really captured my attention.

We’ll have images from Hannah & Matt’s wedding up later this week, so stay tuned. For now, I have mommy duties!

Storyboards are one of the many specialty products we can offer, but people often wonder exactly what they are. This posting will hopefully answer the question. Typically a “storyboard” or “collage” is a collection of multiple images combined into one photograph on a layout. Most of the time, fewer images are better, but rules are meant to be broken! Sometimes more images bring impact to the piece. The look of your piece can be customized with digital designs to match your décor or the images themselves.

All storyboards are mounted and sprayed to protect them from dust, fingerprints, and light. This also makes it possible to hang without the need for glass. Very nice- no glare! There are mounting options that allow your custom designed storyboard to hang directly on your wall without the need for a frame.

These are a couple of examples of storyboard/collage designs:

Here’s a sneak peek at a fall family session with the Flowers family. The kids were so sweet and cooperative! The morning was bright, cool, and clear. It was perfect weather for outdoor photography.

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek. All of your photos will be ready and in your online gallery soon….

Ok, so I know it’s corny, but I had to do it!

It’s great living in a small town. I’ve known Mrs. W. for quite some time….sort of. When we were discussing her family portrait session over the phone, we deduced that we must know each other even though we couldn’t match the others name to a face. As it turns out, we were right! When you live in a small town, you seem to eventually get to know (or know of) just about everyone.

We took off towards Mount Vernon to the Brewton Parker campus for this family’s photo session. They have a great collection of cabins called the Historic Village on the back of the campus. Its sits right behind their beautiful pond. Definitely a place to take the kids and explore! We had a fun time with the boys (and Mr. Frog).

Here’s a sneak peek!

We had so much fun with Brayden and his parents. We are also happy to call his parents our friends. He is just a delightful little guy. He enjoyed exploring the leaves outside and found a few pecans to boot!

We met this little cutie and just fell in love with her. She is such a happy little girl and 7 months old is such a fun age to photograph. She isn’t walking yet, but keeping her in front of the camera was still a challenge. She is one fast crawler! Her mother discovered she had an ear infection a couple of days after her session, but it did not keep her from having a good time!

Here are a few shots from her session:

Thank you to Jessica Vinson of Rachel Louise Designs in Vidalia, GA for creating the beautiful pink tutu we used for Baby M’s photo session. You can find her online at: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7261903. She also has a display at the Pomegranate gift shop in Lyons, GA.

What a cute little “Monkey”!
